Avoid excessive self-promotion, spam, or unsolicited advertising. Share your work in designated channels only and contribute meaningfully to discussions.
Keep Content Appropriate
No NSFW content, gore, or disturbing material. This is a professional community for developers of all ages.
No Exploits or Malicious Content
Do not share, request, or distribute exploits, hacks, cheats, or any malicious code. This includes tools that violate Roblox ToS.
Protect Privacy
Never share personal information about yourself or others. This includes real names, addresses, phone numbers, or any identifying information.
Use Appropriate Channels
Post content in the appropriate sections. Keep discussions relevant to the topic at hand and use the correct categories.
Developer Guidelines
Credit Original Creators
Always give proper credit when using someone else's code, assets, or resources. Plagiarism is strictly prohibited.
Respect Licenses
Understand and follow software licenses. When sharing code, clearly state the license terms. Honor MIT, GPL, and other open source licenses.
Constructive Feedback
When reviewing others' work, provide constructive criticism. Be specific, helpful, and encouraging. We're all learning.
Document Your Work
When sharing code or tutorials, provide clear documentation. Include setup instructions, dependencies, and usage examples.
Marketplace Rules
Honest Listings
All marketplace listings must accurately represent what is being sold. Include clear descriptions, screenshots, and any limitations.
Original Work Only
Only sell work that you own or have rights to sell. Stolen assets, leaked content, or copyrighted material is strictly prohibited.
Fair Pricing
Price your work fairly. No price gouging or unreasonable fees. Consider the market value and complexity of your work.
Deliver As Promised
Complete all orders as described. Communicate clearly with buyers and deliver on time. Scamming results in permanent ban.
No External Payments
Use DEVNET's official payment systems when available. External payment requests bypass our buyer protection policies.
Never send payment or deliver assets before both parties have agreed on terms. Report suspicious activity immediately.
Moderation & Enforcement
Violation Consequences
Warning
First-time minor offenses receive a warning. This is your chance to correct behavior.
Temporary Ban
Serious violations lead to temporary account suspension ranging from 24 hours to 30 days.
Permanent Ban
Severe violations like scamming, doxxing, or distributing malware result in permanent removal.
Appeals Process
If you believe a moderation action was taken in error, you may appeal through our support system. Include:
- Your username and the date of the action
- A clear explanation of your perspective
- Any evidence that supports your case
Appeals are reviewed within 48-72 hours. Decisions made on appeals are final.
Reporting Violations
Help us keep the community safe by reporting violations. When reporting, please provide:
- The username of the violator
- Screenshots or evidence of the violation
- Context about when and where it occurred
